      Verdict

      A disappointing turnout for this maiden and Karl Burke's Captain Ellis is given the vote. Second on debut over this trip at Haydock, this American bred juvenile was green in the early stages before staying on well to take second behind Pure Poetry who finished mid-division in the Weatherbys Super Sprint last Saturday. Market support for Exceptional Art would be significant given connections although the Chapple-Hyam team have been having a quite spell of late. Cruikadyke is another newcomer of note although Paul Cole's juveniles do benefit for their initial racecourse experience. Olympic Dream put in a good effort to finish second in a Haydock maiden earlier this month but this looks a better contest and Captain Ellis is the selection.
