The market got it spot on here as IGUAZU FALLS was the well-supported winner and completed a double on the day for connections. Settled in second place off a steady pace, when Dettori asked the winner to pick up he pulled right away. The drop back to 7f was key to the winner after he found a mile beyond him on two efforts this season. He could well be a dark horse in Group company as the season progresses and judging on this effort, even a drop back to 6f would not inconvenience Iguazu Falls as he displayed plenty of pace. Fathsta stayed on to fill the runner-up position. This was by far his best effort to date and a hike in the ratings now beckons. The Irish raider Croi Mo Ri was ridden to get the trip and while he grabbed third, more prominent tactics over 6f will probably see him more effective.
