MAC GILLE EOIN was progressive last year and showed the benefit of his return to action a week ago with a blistering effort here. Jim Crowley made sure there was no let up in the tempo and his mount registered a comfortable success at the line. Our Faye also made good strides last term and is a game and consistent mare. She did herself no favours with the handicapper with this run though. Gift Horse is a light of former days and is in real danger of becoming frustrating. He is very attractively weighted just now but it is disconcerting that he cannot seem to exploit the opportunity. Sweet Pickle and Idle Power ran to form and can find a race at this level while Pearly Way had a stiff task from his high draw and can be rated a touch better than this. Pawan is a really likeable horse but is another whose wins to runs ratio is of concern.
