Another beautifully judged ride from Kerrin McEvoy on Collection as he delivered his mount inside the final with a telling turn of foot. Held up in rear in the early stages, he eased his way through the field as the gaps opened just at the right time and he was well on top at the line. Staying On did just that having cut out the early running and was a brave second while King Of Rome made up plenty of ground to reach the frame. Without A Prayer came with a good-looking effort inside the distance but ran around once in the front rank. Dr Faustus could never get in a telling blow while Moynihan pulled too hard for his own good and trailed in last.
