The vibes were extremely positive for Jim Bolger's unbeaten CUIS GHAIRE and she did not disappoint with a convincing victory in the end. Her prospects did not look that great at halfway but she picked up well in the second part of the race and was nicely on top at the line. This daughter of Galileo is bred for further and she will take some stopping when tackling seven furlongs and a mile. She is already a single-figure price for next year's 1000 Guineas. Runner-up Penny's Gift made a bold bid for the hat-trick but was outstayed late in the day by a smart performer but she lost nothing in defeat. The well-backed Please Sing got a bit upset behind the stalls - she showed pace for four furlongs but dropped away and is not one to write off yet.
