A triumph for those drawn high with the first four home emerging from stalls 20, 19, 18 and 17 in that order. FIFTEEN LOVE was already a winner at Royal Ascot in the Britannia handicap and prevailed here in a driving finish under a superb ride from Steve Drowne. Well positioned on the rail just off the lead, he had to manoeuvre for a run more than once but really stuck his neck out when in the clear to hold off favourite Masaalek. Connections of the latter were left frustrated yet again as he came off second best once more to his Royal Ascot conqueror. Dropped in from his draw at the start, he was delivered at just the right time but could not get his head in front of a very game rival. Dubai's Touch hit the front a furlong out and ran a screamer for third while Cape Hawk took the field along for much of the way and deservedly earned a place in the frame. Military Cross shot across from his low draw in a dramatic early move to get towards the far rail and those exertions probably took a toll but Lang Shining looks one to avoid at the moment. He overshot the start before a grumpy display that saw Ryan Moore have to lead him back to the starting stalls on foot. He raced wide in rear and was never a factor on any level. Vitznau could be one to take from the race as he zig-zagged around under Jimmy Fortune in mid-division only to get going all to late.
