REDWOOD did this nicely and now heads to the Dante. A son of High Chaparral out of a French Oaks winner, he is bred to continue on the upgrade and there was plenty to like about the way he was going on at the finish. Drumbeat travelled better than the winner for a long way but didn't seem entirely happy entering The Dip. He has an awkward head carriage but stuck to his task well enough and was probably a sighter for his powerful yard. Heliodor was anchored off the early pace and came through for third. He has a good attitude but On Our Way was again keen and didn't see his race out. Derbass was almost eased to a walk from the two furlong pole. This was too bad to be true.
