Probably an informative maiden, although the bunch finish might cast some initial doubts over the value of the form. In the end a battling performance from STYLISH ONE who was always prominent despite a wide draw and when committed for home two furlongs out she quickened nicely past the front-runner Make My Heart. However she was quickly faced with a battle as first Emiyna and then the favourite Eva's Time came with challenges but she batted them all away. John Oxx's Emiyna was forced to race wide throughout meaning that ultimately she ran out of puff late on, tiring into fifth, but it was a highly encouraging debut and she's a sure-fire winner sooner rather than later. A big, long-striding horse, the run won't have been lost on her. It was a solid run from the Dermot Weld-trained favourite Eva's Time as she was outpaced turning for home before rallying well. She was closing on the winner but can have no real excuses, however this daughter of Monsun will win when stepped up to a mile or further. Third home was Quaintly who stayed on nicely, seemingly improving on her first two runs. There was a huge eye catcher in fifth as that position went to debutante Brooklyn Rose. She was the only horse to make up lots of ground from off the pace and ran a blinder first time up, especially as she was taken on a weaving route by her jockey. Further back there was plenty of promise from stablemate Forever Glory and fellow newcomer Brown Butterfly who wasn't knocked about late on having had a troubled passage in the final 200 yards.
