James Lowes is looking for his first win as Bradford boss when the Bulls host Catalan Dragons on Sunday.
Lowes’ first match in charge after taking over from the sacked Francis Cummins saw his second-from-bottom side lose 50-24 at Warrington to plunge into deeper relegation trouble.
The Bradford boss is eyeing improvement as they seek to bridge a nine point gap to third-from-bottom Salford.
“I'm looking forward to the challenge and let's see where we are in a month's time,” he said after the defeat to the Wolves.
"There is no quick fix, that's not going to happen.
"But we will fight all the way to our last game irrespective of our position. We made a few decent breaks and there are things to work on."
Catalan slumped to a last-gasp 32-31 defeat to Leeds Rhinios last time and coach Laurent Frayssinous took the positives, while also wanting his side to learn from the loss.
"Scoring 30 points against the best defence in the comp means something for us,” he said.
"I thought we deserved more. We lacked smartness and composure in the last two minutes but it's hard to criticise any of my players because they had a dig. We need to keep on learning because it was the same at Widnes three weeks ago."
The Bulls are set to give a debut to Danny Williams, who joined on a one-month loan from Salford Red Devils earlier this week, while Joe Arundel also returns to the squad. Elliot Kear and Jordan Baldwinson are the pair to drop out.
The Dragons keep the same squad which lost to the Rhinos last week.
Bradford: Blythe, Pitts, Olbison, Purtell, Gale, Williams, Donaldson, O'Brien, George, Henry, Diskin, Arundel, Kearney, Walker, Addy, Gaskell, Sidlow, Manuokafoa, Fakir.
Catalan Dragons: Escare, Pryce, Pomeroy, Oldfield, Elima, Henderson, Lima, Taia, Anderson, Mounis, Pelissier, Whitehead, Millard, Bousquet, Baitieri, Duport, Cardace, Garcia, Williams.
