Teenager Liam Sutcliffe, 19, retains his place in the 19-man party having made his debut against St Helens at Headingley on Monday.
McDermott is still without the services of Jamie Peacock, Carl Ablett, Stevie Ward and Ben Jones-Bishop who are all recovering from injuries.
The third-placed Rhinos will be looking to find the magic again after suffering a Tetley's Challenge Cup defeat at the hands of Huddersfield and then losing to Saints on home turf.
Two changes
Wigan boss Shaun Wane, meanwhile, has named two changes to his squad as the Warriors look to record an 11th straight win in a row.
The current Super League leaders welcome back scrum-half Matty Smith after a shoulder injury kept him out of action for the past two weeks.
Wane also welcomes back centre Darrell Goulding who missed last weekend's 64-6 victory against the London Broncos with a calf injury. The Warriors are without stand-off Blake Green, prop Gil Dudson and winger Anthony Gelling.
Wigan enter the Magic Weekend at the head of the table and in fine form but it was Leeds who triumphed last time the duo met at Headingley in March, the Rhinos running out 18-14 victors.
Leeds: Achurch, Bailey, Burrow, Clarkson, Delaney, Hall, Hardaker, Jones-Buchanan, Kirke, Leuluai, McGuire, McShane, Moon, Moore, Sinfield, Singleton, Sutcliffe, Vickery, Watkins.
Wigan: Charnley, Crosby, Farrell, Flower, Goulding, Hansen,Hughes, Lauaki, McIlorum, Mossop, O'Loughlin, Powell, Richards, Smith, Spencer, Thornley, L. Tomkins, S. Tomkins, Tuson.
