The Rhinos are currently six points clear of St Helens with four matches left to play, while Salford are second from bottom with just 11 points to their name from 23 outings.
Leeds claimed the two points in last Thursday's success over the struggling London Broncos while the City Reds were put to the sword by league leaders Huddersfield on Sunday.
The Rhinos will be without Australian back row Brett Delaney after he picked up a knee injury against Tony Rea's men, while centre Joel Moon misses out against his former club with an ankle injury.
