Super League: Hull KR v London Broncos preview
By Jonathan Doidge. Last Updated: 24/05/14 9:36am
Liam Salter has recovered from a high tackle to take his place in the Hull KR line-up to face London on Sunday.
The Robins centre was hit high by Jason Crookes in the derby win over Hull FC, an act that has seen the Airlie Birds man banned for two matches.
A sporting spectacular awaits later this month - from 22nd to 25th May Sky Sports will show live coverage of the BMW PGA Championship, the Monaco Grand Prix, the UEFA Champions League Final, the Heineken Cup Final, the Championship Play-Off Final, England v Sri Lanka ODI cricket and much more. But Salter has recovered well enough to turn out against the Broncos, while Jordan Cox is also back in the squad after missing last week's success.
The home side have been better than many expected so far this campaign.
Having lost playmaker Michael Dobson in the close season, they could have lacked direction, but Kris Keating and Travis Burns have stepped in and done admirable jobs.
Perhaps more so, the forwards have been outstanding, with Papuan international Neville Costigan a revelation and he will look to inspire his team mates to victory in a game that they are overwhelming favourites to win.
Twins Adam and Jonny Walker are also back in the squad together for the first time in three months after the latter finally recovered from an ankle injury.
Former Rovers back-row forward George Griffin returns to the Broncos squad to face his old club, taking the place of last week's Maxime Herold.
Full-back Nesi Mataitonga also returns from injury as bottom club London continue to seek their first win of the Super League campaign.
Rovers: Burns, Cockayne, Costigan, Cox, Gardner, Hall, J Hodgson, D Hodgson, Horne, Keating, Langley, Larroyer, Lovegrove, Netherton, Salter, A Walker, J Walker, Welham, Weyman
Broncos: Atkins, Bishay, Caton-Brown, Cook, Cunningham, Drinkwater, Farrar, Foster, Greenwood, Griffin, Krasniqi, Mataintonga, McMeeken, Minns, Moore, Slyney, Solomona, Vea, Wallace
