London Broncos ended the season on a high with a 46-6 victory over Featherstone in Ealing, but it was not enough to keep alive their promotion hopes.
The Broncos followed up their shock win over Salford last week by claiming a third success of the Super 8s Qualifiers, but lose out on the Million Pound Game to the fifth-placed Red Devils on points difference.
The Red Devils dispatched Batley 42-14 to set up a clash between Hull KR and Salford in the Million Pound Game, live on Sky Sports next Saturday.
Wales winger Rhys Williams led the way for the Londoners on Sunday with a hat-trick of tries, while Daniel Harrison, Elliot Kear, Matt Garside, Ben Hellewell, Jack Bussey and Mark Ioane also touched down. Jamie Soward contributed with five goals.
Featherstone trailed 42-0 before John Davies scored their only try which was converted by Danny Craven.
The Broncos are left to rue what could have been, after coming close to victory over now-promoted Leigh in the opening round of the Qualifiers. London scored four tries in the last four minutes of the 34-30 loss in August, but had left too much to do after finding themselves 34-8 down with the game closing out.
Featherstone on the other hand finish the season with no wins in the Qualifiers, with both sides now heading back to the Kingstone Press Championship for the 2017 season.
