Prince Harry will carry out his first official engagement as patron of the Rugby Football League next Thursday when he visits Headingley.
His Royal Highness, who has taken over the role of patron from The Queen, will be in Leeds to attend a Sky Try Rugby League Festival, which is part of a seven-year programme designed to get more than 700,000 children from primary and secondary schools across the country playing rugby league.
The festival will see eight and nine-year-olds from seven local primary schools in Leeds take part in 7-a-side touch rugby league games.
The activities will be led by local coaches from the Leeds Rhinos Foundation assisted by former Leeds and England captain Kevin Sinfield in his role of RFL rugby director.
Also helping out on the pitch will be England assistant coach Paul Sculthorpe, another former international, and current Leeds and England players Kallum Watkins and Ryan Hall.
