Clubs outside Super League are to have their own 'Magic Weekend' next season when a full round of Championship fixtures will be held at Blackpool's Bloomfield Road.
Three matches will be held each day at the 'Summer Bash' over the Bank Holiday weekend of May 23 and 24, along with a series of events and activities on the lines of Super League's weekend spectacular.
A Rugby Football League spokesman said: "The Summer Bash will be a fantastic addition to the new-look Championship and I am sure fans of all the clubs involved will embrace the concept and take the opportunity to spend a magical weekend at the seaside.
"Blackpool has provided the backdrop to some epic rugby league matches down the years and the restoration of promotion and relegation from 2015, when every minute of every game matters, will produce drama of the highest quality."
Meanwhile, details of Super League's ninth Magic Weekend have yet to be confirmed but it will avoid a clash with the Summer Bash.
Organisers are expected to look for a new venue due to planned building work at Manchester's Etihad Stadium, which has hosted the event for the last three years.
The RFL used Cardiff's Millennium Stadium and Murrayfield for the first five years of the event but is thought to be considering a new venue for 2015, with Newcastle and Coventry among the options.
