Wakefield Wildcats have been fined £20,000 for racial chanting by their fans.
The Super League club were found guilty by an independent tribunal of breaches of Rugby Football League operational rules following crowd misconduct during the Super 8s play-off match against Bradford at Belle Vue last August.
An RFL spokesman said: "The matter relates to Wakefield's home fixture in round two of the Super 8s Qualifiers against Bradford Bulls in which a group of Wakefield supporters were found by the tribunal to have engaged in chanting of a racist and offensive nature."
Half of the fine has been suspended until the end of the 2016 season but the tribunal also ordered the club to pay a £1,000 fine which was suspended following a previous incident of misconduct when two smoke canisters were thrown from the away end during their fixture at Castleford on the opening weekend of last season.
The tribunal gave credit to Wakefield for the steps taken after the match to address the issue but felt the sanction should reflect the serious nature of the incidents.
