Speculation linking former coach Brian Noble with a return to Bradford Bulls has been dismissed by the club.
Bradford are currently down in 12th place in the engage Super League table and the position of Steve McNamara, Noble's successor as Bulls coach, has come under scrutiny.
Noble, who guided Bradford to five consecutive Grand Final appearances before making a shock move to Wigan in 2006, is out of contract with the Warriors at the end of the season amid speculation that he will not be offered a new deal.
Former player Adrian Lam is the latest man to be linked with a move to the JJB Stadium.
However, Bradford chairman Peter Hood said: "Media speculation that Brian Noble is to return to Bradford Bulls as head coach is precisely that - rumour and speculation, which I can categorically deny."
Meanwhile, Bradford hope to have centre Chris Nero and captain and scrum-half Paul Deacon back from injury for Saturday's game against Wakefield at Murrayfield.
Their return would help offset the loss of second rower David Solomona, who was due to see a specialist on Thursday to determine the extent of a second shoulder dislocation in three months.
