Leeds have confirmed that winger Ben Jones-Bishop will be out for four months after suffering a dislocated shoulder.
Jones-Bishop made an impressive start to the Super League season with the Rhinos after his loan spell at Harlequins in 2010 but picked up the injury in last week's win over Salford.
He will undergo surgery to treat the problem, with 19-year-old Zak Hardaker being called back from Featherstone in the wake of the blow.
"It is disappointing on three fronts. Firstly for Ben as he was performing so well but will now have to put that on hold for the time being," coach Brian McDermott said.
"Secondly, it is a blow for England as it looked as if we had a very exciting player for the national team.

"And finally for Leeds Rhinos as we will miss out on a talented member of our squad for four months."
Hardaker joined the Rhinos on a five-year deal last November but was loaned back to Featherstone under the dual-registration system for 2011 and has scored in all five appearances for Rovers this season.
He is expected to go straight into the 19-man squad for as the Rhinos host St Helens on Saturday, when he could be in line to make his debut.
McDermott added: "Zak has shown a real improvement on and off the field in recent weeks.
"He has been getting some good game-time with Featherstone and is well used to our systems as he trains the first part of the week with us each week."
