Huddersfield released 21-year-old Adam at the end of this season, but he remains in the thoughts of the Scotland selectors and is set to make his debut alongside Castleford front-rower Jonathan at Meggetland, Edinburgh
The Scots welcome back Catalan Dragons hooker Ben Fisher, who will retire at the end of the tournament and join the coaching staff of London Broncos, while Huddersfield second rower Dale Ferguson and Castleford prop Paul Jackson also return.
Australia-based former Widnes favourite Lee Paterson is expected to fill the void in the halves after the retirement of John Duffy, who has failed to recover from a back injury.
Leeds hooker Liam Hood and Wigan reserve utility back Shae Lyon-Fraser are also targeting their first caps, alongside Dave Vernon, Craig Borthwick and Tom Murray from Scottish champions Edinburgh Eagles.
"We've got a mixture of experience and youth in the squad but they are all so passionate about representing Scotland," said Scotland coach Dave Rotheram.
"We've got Ferguson, Fisher and Mitchell Stringer, who all missed last year, and Paul Jackson is back too, plus three young new boys who are making their mark on Super League in the Walker twins and Liam Hood.
"They are fabulous acquisitions for us. They can grow their international careers in our squad."
