Injury severely restricted the 21-year-old's availability and the youngster cannot wait to start playing regular rugby again following shoulder surgery.
Arundel expects to be fit for the start of pre-season training and the ex-Tigers back is looking to help his new club lift silverware for the first time since the 2005 Challenge Cup.
"I'll be pretty much ready to go from the start and I'm really looking forward to starting afresh. I just want to get back to where I was as quickly as possible and then take my game even further," he told the club's official website.
"It's been a bit of a nightmare year really. The first operation went wrong and I had to go on a waiting list for ages before I could have a second one, but I've had a good break and I'm feeling fresher than ever.
"The surgeon told me afterwards that it would take 12 weeks for me to recover and it will have been 11 by the time I come in for pre-season training, so hopefully I can get stuck into it straight away.
"I'm coming here just to play the best I possibly can for Hull FC. If I can do that and we are playing well as a team, then hopefully some honours will follow on the back of it."
