The Wales winger has impressed since joining the Bulls from Crusaders on a three-year deal before the 2012 season.
The 24-year-old has now agreed an extra year on his contract, and coach Francis Cummins paid tribute to Kears performances for both club and country.
"Elliot has done fantastically well this year and is continuing to improve," said Cummins.
"His performances in the World Cup have been most impressive and I expected as much after such a good season in Super League for him.
"We see him as a threat out wide, he has alarming pace and an eye for the line. We felt is was important to secure his services for another year, but the extended deal is really a reward for Elliot.
"He will again play a key role for us next year and I expect he will only get better, given the competition for places in three-quarters."
Kear, who can also play full-back, added: "I am over the moon with the extension as it gives me a bit more security. I love the Bulls and it was a dream for me when I first came here.
"I am settled here now and am really enjoying myself, so I'm delighted to sign for another year.
"My main aim this coming season will be to stay injury-free, play every game again and match the form I showed this year."
Meanwhile, Ryan Whitcut has stepped down from his position as joint-chairman of the Bulls.
Whitcut, who joined the Super League club as general manager in 2012, made his decision following discussions with the Rugby Football League.
"I am stepping down from my role at the Bradford Bulls after conversations with the governing body of the Rugby Football League," Whitcut said.
"Although I am disappointed, I am confident that the new team I brought together will help the club move forward and take it back to where it belongs as an industry leader.
"I have enjoyed the last 18 months involved here and made a lot of new friends, but I have a new journey ahead of me now and I wish everyone the best of luck as the Bulls move forward and go from strength to strength."
