London Broncos have continued re-building for life in the Championship with the signing of Australian loose forward Daniel Harrison from Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.
Harrison, 26, is joining the relegated Super League club on a two-year deal from 2015 and is their third overseas recruit following the additions of Liam Foran and Ray Nasso.
He's come out of the Manly and Parramatta training programmes and has extensive rugby league knowledge from his time in the NRL.
Grima on Harrison
Harrison made 19 appearances for Manly in 2011 and 2012 and had a spell at Parramatta before re-joining the Sea Eagles earlier this year, although he failed to break back into their NRL side.
Broncos head coach Joey Grima said: "Daniel will bring a wealth of experience to our club. He's come out of the Manly and Parramatta training programmes and has extensive rugby league knowledge from his time in the NRL.
"He will have the opportunity to continue to train in a full-time environment while helping our club to achieve its goals in 2015."
"I am really excited and looking forward to joining the Broncos for the 2015 and 2016 seasons," said Harrison. "I have spoken to Joey Grima and he was really happy to have me at the Broncos which made me confident and excited to play under him.
"I am excited to see how my game will go. It will be a good challenge for me and I am looking forward to it."
Harrison is the 13th player to be confirmed by the Londoners for 2015. In addition to the new faces, Grima has brought back Oscar Thomas and re-signed Jonathan Wallace, Harvey Burnett, Toby Everett, Joe Keyes, Nick Slyney, Joel Wicks, Iliess Macani, James Woodburn-Hall and Ben Farrar from the current squad.
