Leigh Centurions get in some pre-season team building when they face each other on the go kart track.

Leigh Centurions continued their  Super League preparations with a little bit of team bonding away from the field.

The Centurions, who were promoted to the Super League last season, have been working hard to come together on and off the pitch as they recently spent some time in Lanzarote working on their summer skills sessions and bonding off the field with a bit of karting where things got a bit competitive.

"Someone once said, 'If you're not cheating, you're not trying'," joked Centurions stand-off Martyn Ridyard, who was convinced he was robbed of the chequered flag.

"There were a few cheats in Manchester that afternoon, all bent on stopping me from taking pole position.

"It's always a good laugh, doing team bonding stuff like that but it's important too, especially with some of the hard work we've had to put in in training over the last few weeks.
