Sky Bet's Jordan Fiddes is backing a proven try scorer this week
After their shock defeat at home to Castleford, league leaders Wigan went from
1/12 to
4/11 to finish the season on top.
However, the biggest movers were Warrington who halved their price from
10/1 to
5/1 in the same market.
They host current Champions Leeds Rhinos on Friday and are strong
1/6 favourites to take the two points.
They have a
-14 handicap to contend with too but, with the Rhinos in indifferent form at the moment, I'm staying well away from that.
Instead, I'm looking at the try scorer market and going for Ryan Atkins to score a brace at
5/2.
The Wolves centre is in fine form at the moment, scoring 10 tries in his last 10 appearances in Super League.
One of those tries was in a 28-22 defeat against the Rhinos back in April.
He's also scored a try in each of his last four meetings against Leeds and will be up against Kallum Watkins who has played just one game since May.
Leeds - The six times Grand Final winners - have conceded a massive 12 tries to the opposition centre this season.
In contrast to this, the beaten Grand Finalists from last year - Warrington - have scored more tries from the centre position than anyone else in Super League with 17.
If Atkins maintains his good form - he's scored 14 tries in 20 appearances so far this year - then the
5/2 price to score a brace is looking valuable.
Saints will march
St.Helens have been struggling of late having slipped to eighth in the table and winning just nine games this season.
From starting the season as one of the favourites to win the Grand Final, they are now a massive
12/1 to claim glory at Old Trafford.
However, they travel to Castleford on Sunday on the back of a 10-match winning streak against the Tigers.
The last Castleford win came back in April 2008 meaning the Saints have won on the Tigers home ground on their last four visits.
Castelford, on the other hand, have enjoyed some excellent form since Daryll Powell took over; culminating in a magnificent 18-4 victory at Wigan last week.
The former Super League Champions have been given a slim
-6 handicap to contend with at Castleford on Sunday which I am expecting them to overcome.
In Super League history, the Saints have won 29 against the Tigers, with the home side winning just four.
In Round 10, St.Helens ran out comfortable 48-18 victors over the Tigers and enjoyed a similar result last season at Langtree Park.
The Saints are due a revival and I predict it will come this weekend against Castleford at the PROBIZ Coliseum.
