Hull could be without both their first-choice props for the visit to Huddersfield on Thursday after Scott Taylor and Liam Watts were charged with foul play.

Taylor is accused of shoulder charging on Catalans Dragons loose forward Jason Baitieri during his team's 16-14 home defeat by the French club last week, while Watts is alleged to have made a dangerous throw in the same game.

Taylor has the option of submitting an early guilty plea to his grade B charge but Watts, who has faced disciplinary action inside the last 12 months, must go before a Rugby Football League independent disciplinary panel in Leeds to answer a grade D offence.

The violation carries a ban of between three to five matches.

Former Hull prop Sam Moa is facing a grade B charge of a late and high tackle on Black and Whites skipper Gareth Ellis early in that match and, because of an offence in the NRL in 2016, will also face a hearing on Tuesday.

Baitieri and Leeds second rower Carl Ablett are both accused of making contact with a match official while Huddersfield forward Ukuma Ta'ai is facing a grade B high tackle charge on Wakefield winger Ben Jones-Bishop.

Ablett, who is facing a grade B charge, has the option of submitting an early guilty plea while Baitieri must answer a grade A charge.
