It’s not an obvious choice but this shows how tough rugby league players are. Elliott Whitehead and Rhys Hanbury both compete for the ball in goal, with Hanbury denying Whitehead the chance to score by seeing the ball dead. After a collision between the two players, we see Hanbury crash into the stands. To borrow one of Stevo’s sayings, he’s a real tough hombre!
4. Olsi Krasniqi
This is Krasniqi’s second chance in Super League, having made 91 appearances for the London Broncos over four years. After recently spending a short time in Australia, he will be determined to keep putting in shots like this and proving his worth to the Salford team, especially at the business end of the season.
3. Remi Casty
Casty spent 2014 in the NRL with the Sydney Roosters, playing under former Dragons boss Trent Robinson. Well known for being one of the best defensive teams in the world, it’s obvious that it’s rubbed off on the Frenchman, with a great tackle on his own line to deny Eamon O’Carroll.

Atkins is known as ‘Rhino’ to his team-mates and this shot on New Zealand international Kevin Locke must be why. A ripper of a tackle!
1. Danny Brough
Rugby league is a tough enough sport without having to taking shots to the head from your own team-mate! Joe Wardle’s collision with Danny Brough saw him leave the pitch but he came back on to make his mark on a fantastic match. Unfortunately for Huddersfield, they ended up losing the game to a late Luke Walsh drop goal.
