5. Richard Myler: Warrington v Wigan, 2nd July

In an age when so many tries come from pre-planned and choreographed plays it was pleasing to see an instinctive one like this. I'd go as far to say that this was unique!

It wasn't easy to score against the Warriors in 2015, they conceded fewer tries than any other side  but this was the sort of thing you'd see when youngsters are playing for fun in the back garden. It  brought a big smile to Super League.

4. Josh Griffin: Salford v Hull, 28th Feb

This try makes me laugh and cry. It demonstrates the 'brilliant mind' that Rangi Chase has when he hypnotises defenders with his close up magic tricks. Now you see it, now you don't.  He's the only player in the competition who can do this.

Then I realise what might have been and I'm sad for the Salford supporters. Chase has proven in the past to be the best player in this competition, but for a variety of reasons we didn't see more of it in 2015.

3 Ben Roberts: Castleford v Leeds, 17th September

The Tigers had several strong contenders for the Top Try List , but this was my favourite.  After the break had been made from their own half, Ben Roberts eventually confronted Zak Hardaker  about 30 metres from the Leeds line.  Roberts had one team mate in support, Luke Gale, whilst  the Rhinos had three of the fastest players back to stop the try.  Four defenders seemed certain to stop two attackers, but Daryl Powell seems to encourage his teams to take risks and Gale flicked the ball at the perfect time back to his half-back partner. Even the Leeds' lads looked stunned.

Very few people thought that the Tigers could win twice at Leeds in one season, but this brilliant try made it a reality.

2.  Ryan Hall: Leeds v Huddersfield, 25th September

This try was both significant and spectacular.  It was like a 'Super League defibrillator' as it delivered a dose of energy directly to the heart of the Rhinos when it had looked as though their season was dying out.  Some players refuse to accept what appears inevitable and although Eddie Hemmings said "It looks like it's going to be a draw" with six seconds remaining and Leeds still in their own half of  the field, McGuire and Hall thought differently.  The fact is that the 'bounce of the ball' can often determine who wins in sport between 2 great teams.  This was arguably the greatest Rugby League moment for the last 10 years.

1.  Josh Walters in Grand Final: Leeds v Wigan, 10th October

The aim of the game is to win the Grand Final, it's what everything is about, and this try did it. Josh Walters hadn't played for the previous 4 weeks but scored the 4 points that helped to give  them the ultimate prize.

Back in Round 1, Leeds had been behind in the final 20 minutes at Hull KR but finished stronger that their opponents and won.  At Old Trafford, they did the same.

McGuire's chip kick at Huddersfield was important, but his cross field kick in Manchester was the one that concluded their greatest ever season.
