Saints have been one of the teams to beat so far in 2014, recording four wins from four to kick off the new Super League campaign.
Brown's men have beaten the likes of Warrington, Hull FC, Salford and Hull KR but the Australian tactician insists it is far too early to start thinking about Old Trafford.
Saints have failed to reach the Grand Final after losing the previous five and the former Huddersfield head coach insists they have plenty of hard work to do yet to book a trip to Manchester on October 11.
"We've been fortunate to have some key players I suppose play similar positions which has helped, the guys pretty much across the board most of the guys have contributed reasonably consistently well," Brown told Sky Sports ahead of Friday's home clash against Catalan Dragons.
"We feel we've played some good sides and got some good results, but it's early days and we know we that need to improve if we want to get to where we want to get to.
"Winning teams are generally happy teams. There's no doubt that winning games gives a little bit of confidence and when you're winning things do stick a little better than when things aren't going your way."
