After getting their Super League campaign under way with victory over Catalan Dragons, Hull suffered back-to-back defeats on the road, losing to St Helens before being edged out 18-16 by the Wolves on Sunday.
Despite a turbulent start to their 2014 season, Hull sit eighth in the Super League standings and Yeaman expects the Black-and-Whites to bounce back when they host Bradford.
"We came away from Warrington more frustrated than anything else because the first half was poor by our standards and then in the second half we showed the side we are," he told the Hull Daily Mail.
"There's a confidence we are heading in the right direction and we believe we can go into any game and get the two points.
"At Saints and Warrington, we nearly came away with the result but while we were disappointed we're not disheartened.
"What we need to do now is take that confidence into Friday's game against Bradford and give the fans a good performance at the KC."
Defeat at the Halliwell Jones Stadium was only a second appearance for Yeaman as he returned from a groin injury and, although Hull left Warrington empty-handed, the England international believes they are taking strides forward.
"Warrington scored three tries against us and we had a few problems, but one of those tries was when we were down to 12 men and we showed in the second half by keeping them out how solid we can be defensively," he added.
"I think our defence improved against Warrington. I'm going okay, I enjoyed myself against Catalan, so I was disappointed to miss the Saints game.
"I'm really happy with my defence and I think it's at the top of my game. I didn't get much chance in attack against Warrington but sometimes that happens in games and now I'm looking forward to Friday."
While Yeaman was unable to add to his opening-round brace, his new wing partner Fetuli Talanoa did open his Super League account.
"I'm really enjoying playing alongside Fetuli," Yeaman said. "He's a great guy who I get on really well with on and off the pitch, which helps.
"I think we are already on the same page and there's plenty of talk between us on the pitch. The more games we play together the better we'll be, but I think we already fit together well."
