Melbourne full-back Billy Slater insists the NRL champions have done their homework on World Club Challenge opponents Leeds Rhinos.
The Australian side have been watching video on their rivals ahead of Friday's clash at Elland Road, which can be seen live on Sky Sports.
Slater has picked out half-back pairing Danny McGuire and Rob Burrow as two the Storm will have to watch out for if they are to return Down Under with the trophy.
The Great Britain duo have become key players alongside each other for the Rhinos having played together throughout the youth ranks at Headingley.
"We've done a fair bit of video work on them," said Slater. "They're a great balanced side.
"They've got some big go-forward guys and their half-back (Burrow) is a great little player. McGuire at five-eighth is pretty unpredictable and they've some big centres.
"They're pretty strong across the field but obviously the half-backs are their main men that direct them around the park.
"They have a couple of big front rowers as well who we'll have to stop so the guys out wide can't get some space."
Melbourne are not short of quality themselves despite skipper Cameron Smith and Greg Inglis not travelling to England.
The players that did make the trip enjoyed a warm-up win over Halifax last Friday night, a match Slater believes has helped them sharpen up and also get used to the cold weather.
"This is all new for me," he said. "The weather is obviously a bit cold but we're pretty used to that down in Melbourne. It can get this cold on a Saturday night in winter.
"We came over a little bit earlier to get used to the scenery over here and Halifax gave us a pretty hard hit-out, which we needed.
"We've come over with the attitude that we're going to have a good crack at it."
