Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield insists personal glory means nothing as he goes in search of a first Challenge Cup winners medal.
The 31-year-old has helped Leeds to five Grand Final successes during his lengthy tenure at Headingley Carnegie, however, glory in the cup competition has eluded him.
Sinfield, who became the club's all-time leading points scorer earlier this season, helped himself to a personal best 28 points in Friday's quarter-final win over Leigh Centurions.
The former Great Britain international is now just one point from reaching the 3,000 mark, although Sinfield would swap his impressive tally for winning the cup at Wembley.
Team comes first
"I am just trying to do my job," Sinfield told the
Yorkshire Evening Post.
"Thankfully the guys keep scoring tries under the posts and making it easy for me.
"It's really nice to have scored so many points, but I would swap every single one for a Challenge Cup final winner's medal.
"I am delighted we are through to the next round and, in terms of points, it is nice to do it - but it's the team records I am more concerned about. Hopefully we can keep getting better."
Leeds have been paired with Wigan in this year's semi-final, a repeat of last season's final in which the Warriors claimed a 28-18 success in the capital.
