The 17-year-old half-back was a late addition to the travelling party as the Broncos flew out of London on Friday to continue their preparations for the new Super League season.
Woodburn-Hall, who started playing rugby league and basketball in year seven at school, joined West London Sharks and played county basketball before being selected for the London Broncos scholarship.
The capital club play two friendlies during their time away - they face Toulouse on Saturday before then going up against top-flight rivals Catalan Dragons on January 23.
"James has trained with us when he can," head coach Tony Rea said. "He is at a very important time with his schooling at the moment but he's a guy that represents the good the club is doing down below.
"He's not a token actually. He's genuinely at the top end of our squad in contention so it's good to have the opportunity to look at him."
Rea will be without the services of Michael Robertson and Dan Sarginson due to thigh and hamstring injuries respectively, while Tony Clubb is also absent through to illness.
The Broncos begin their 2013 campaign with a game against Widnes Vikings on February 3.
