Departing Bradford Bulls coach Mick Potter believes assistant Francis Cummins would be his ideal replacement.
The former Leeds, Ireland and Great Britain winger has been the Australian's right-hand man for the past two years at Odsal.
Potter, who worked at the Bulls without pay since July, has recommended Cummings to new owners Omar Khan and Gerry Sutcliffe.
"I have recommended Francis Cummins as my successor,'' commented Potter.

"He has worked with me throughout my time at the club and in my opinion will become a very good first-team coach.
"Franny is a smart, intelligent guy in his own right. He made a trip to Australia to visit a number of NRL clubs last year and came back with a wealth of knowledge.
"Not only that, he's got a lot of other experience from his time at Leeds.''
The Bulls hope to be able to confirm their new coach early next week.
