The 22-year-old, who has scored two tries and 38 goals from 10 appearances, joined the Bulls in the close season on an initial 12-month deal.
The former St Helens winger had no hesitation is putting pen-to-paper on the contract as he believes the club has a positive future.
"It's a massive confidence boost for me to get this new contract," he told the club's official website. "The deal was very easy to agree and I was quick to sign on the dotted line.
"I'm just really excited about what the future holds now. We know it's a building process here at Bradford to challenge the big clubs again but we're all hungry for it.
"I think if you have the hunger then you're halfway there already. Omar Khan has come in and bought the club and there is a tremendous feeling here now. The club is certainly going places."
Bulls head coach Francis Cummins is full of praise for Foster, stating there is still plenty more to come from the goal-kicking winger.
"Jamie has improved since he's been here and how he approaches the game," said Cummins.
"He said himself that he was probably a bit shocked with how hard the pre-season training but he got going and did some good things out on the field.
"I don't think we've seen the best of him yet but he's got to keep going as he was before he got injured. I wanted him to stay and he's agreed, so we're really pleased."
Chairman Omar Khan is thrilled to have secured Foster's services for the foreseeable future and believes his signature is the first of many signings as they look to build on the foundations being laid by Cummins.
"I am delighted that Jamie has pledged his future to us," said Kahn. "He is one of our most popular players and a massive asset to the team with his tremendous goal kicking.
"The fact that he was so keen to extend his contract shows the faith he has that the club is moving forward in the right way.
"We will be announcing many more signings over the coming weeks as we look get the club back where it belongs."
