Wigan Warriors winger Josh Charnley is aiming to get things right in front of goal after missing four conversions in Friday's win over Huddersfield.
The league leaders outscored the Giants by seven tries to two at the Galpharm Stadium, although Wigan's inability to add the extras kept the score down.
Super League's leading -corer Charnley added two more tries in the contest, however it is his work with the boot he is looking to improve in training.
The 20-year-old had been pleased with efforts of late, but knows he needs to step it up against after his misses in Friday's top of the table clash.
"It just didn't seem to go my way on the night," explained Charnley.
"None of them were easy, but I was striking them all right and they were looking good until the last five metres and then they faded.
"The way I kick, I have a bit of an arc on the ball, and maybe I need to make it a little bit straighter.
"I need to get back down to the training ground and maybe have a chat with Deacs (Paul Deacon) and Iestyn (Harris) about how to sort it out.
"It's hopefully just a case of working on my technique but maybe I also need to concentrate more, because it was eight points I cost the team and I'm not happy about that."
