The Warriors centre requires surgery to repair the torn pectoral muscle he suffered in the victory over St Helens on Good Friday.
The 22-year-old played in the Super League champions' opening eight matches of the season, but he will not feature again this year.
Prop forwards Ben Flower suffered an ankle injury at Langtree Park and could be out until June, while Eddy Pettybourne is also facing a spell on the sidelines after picking up a calf problem.
Sean O'Loughlin is struggling with a neck injury and is expected to miss Sunday's Challenge Cup fifth-round tie against Hunslet.
"Losing two front rowers for a decent amount of time is a blow to us, but we have to deal with it," head coach Shaun Wane said.
"Iain will have an operation (on Thursday), Ben is probably six weeks and Eddy is a couple of weeks off."
Matty Bowen, Matty Smith and Joe Burgess are likely to be recalled to face the Hawks after being rested for Monday's 84-6 mauling of Bradford.
Wane also confirmed that 18-year-old prop Ryan Sutton will keep his place after making an encouraging debut against the Bulls.
