Catalans Dragons have announced they will part company with French Test hooker Eloi Pelissier at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old home-grown player is out of contract with the Perpignan club, who have decided not to offer him a new deal.
Catalans chairman Bernard Guasch said: "The decision to not offer a new contract has been taken unanimously by the board members.
"Eloi was looking for a club where he could be the first choice in his position and I think it's a good opportunity for him to have a fresh start at another Super League side.
"He has great qualities but I think he gets so much support here that he may need a calmer environment to succeed. He needs to keep working hard. He has a great career ahead of him and I wish him the best for the future."
Pelissier, who has scored 23 tries in 144 Super League appearances for the Dragons since making his debut in 2011, will be among a host of high-profile departures from the French club after another season of under-achievement.
The Catalans have confirmed the retirement of Pat Richards and Gregory Mounis and the exit of Glenn Stewart, Olivier Elima, Antonio Maria and Stan Robin while Morgan Escare has been told he is free to look for another club and rumours persist over the future of overseas duo Todd Carney and Dave Taylor.
