Shaun Wane hits back at Denis Betts over Gareth Hock block
Shaun Wane has slammed claims from Widnes boss Denis Betts that Wigan are "scared" of Gareth Hock.

Widnes signed Hock on a season-long loan from Wigan and his parent club are refusing him permission to play in Saturday's Super League showdown.
That led Betts to say: "I know he really wants to play. They must be afraid of him."
But Wigan boss Wane said the decision to block Hock from playing was not down to him and hit back: "We don't make stupid and ridiculous comments, like Denis has done.
"I'm not bothered whether Gaz plays or not. It was something chairman Ian Lenagan wanted to put into the contract. I wasn't involved with that.
"Obviously that decision has been made and Widnes have to deal with it."
Hock fell out with his home-town club in the winter and his departure, together with a terrible injury list, has left Wane with a threadbare squad for the Vikings clash.
Harrison Hansen, Gil Dudson, Epalahame Lauaki, Lee Mossop and Paul Prescott are all ruled out, although England full-back Sam Tomkins should be able to return.
"We down to the bare bones at the minute but we need to get on with it. If we show the same desire showed at Leeds and play with a bit more composure on attack and a bit more concentration on defence, then we'll be okay."
Sean O'Loughlin and Chris Tuson are nursing knocks from the Leeds game but he expects them to be fit to face the Vikings.
