Castleford have revealed that Ashley Gibson and Michael Channing will leave the club after Friday's final match at Wigan.

The Tigers are also releasing England academy international Brandon Moore, who was last week named player of the year for the U19s but failed to break into coach Daryl Powell's Super League team and is set for a move to a Championship club.

Gibson, a former Leeds player who is being linked with a move to Wakefield, has scored 11 tries in 28 appearances since joining Castleford from Salford in 2013.

The 28-year-old is in the squad for the game against Wigan, along with Channing, who joined the club from London Broncos just over two years ago.

Castleford chief executive Steve Gill said: "All three players have been a credit to our club and applied themselves both on and off the field at the highest level.

"On behalf of everyone here at Castleford Tigers I would like to wish them all the best in the future."

Front-row forwards Ryan Bailey and Scott Wheeldon are also leaving the Tigers, whose only confirmed signing for 2016 is former Hull centre Ben Crooks from Parramatta.
