Adam Milner signs new two-year contract with Castleford Tigers

Castleford Tigers hooker Adam Milner has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2018 season.

Milner, 24, who has made more than 100 appearances since making his debut in 2010, was out of contract at the end of the season and said he is delighted to extend his stay.

"I'm so happy," he said. "I really see the club going places over the next couple of years and I want to be part of that.

"The ambition of where this club wants to go has significantly improved over the last two years, especially under (coach) Daryl Powell. I really believe Castleford Tigers can bring some silverware back to this great town soon."

Powell said: "I'm absolutely delighted that Adam Milner has decided to extend his contract with the club.

"He is a high-quality player who I feel is going to get better and better over the coming years and he will be one of our key players in our development as we look to improve further this season."
