The teams are separated by just one point, with the Wildcats holding a slender advantage in ninth as the sides lock horns in what is virtually a play-off for the play-offs.
Wildcats coach Richard Agar has rued missed opportunities in recent weeks as his side have endured back-to-back defeats.
"We haven't attacked as well as we would like over the last two games and that's something in a couple of key positions we might have a look at," he told the club's official website. "How we attack this week is important so we might possibly look for a change."
Following the attacking disappointment Agar has opted to include 21-year-old centre Danny Cowling as Taulima Tautai misses out.
Wildcats captain Danny Kirmond is expected to return to action after withdrawing at the last minute ahead of last Friday's clash with Leeds Rhinos.
Meanwhile, Bulls coach Francis Cummins has had his hand forced by injuries as he makes two changes to the side which beat Hull last time out.
Back row John Bateman injured his ankle as the Bulls ended their run of six consecutive defeats at Odsal two weeks ago, while Michael Platt is struggling with a hamstring tear.
In the duo's absence Cummins has opted to include centre Sam Wood and hooker Adam O'Brien as the Bulls look to leapfrog their local rivals.
The Bulls have triumphed on the last three occasions the sides have met, with the Tigers' most recent win coming in September 2011.
