Mike Catt believes London Irish winger Topsy Ojo and scrum-half Paul Hodgson are pushing hard for inclusion in England's RBS Six Nations squad.
The duo, who have just signed new contracts until the summer of 2012 at the Madejski Stadium, have already made their Test debuts.
However Ojo has found chances limited as Ugo Monye and Paul Sackey are currently the first-choice wingers, while Danny Care and Harry Ellis are above Hodgson in the pecking order for the No.9 shirt.
However former England international and World Cup-winner Catt insists his Exiles team-mates can force their way into contention if they maintain their current form.
"Topsy has been tremendous again for us this season. He has not been a try-scorer like Sailosi Tagicakibau but with the work-rate Topsy puts in he creates tries for everybody else," said Catt.
"There is a very good chance if he carries on performing they have got to pick him with Delon Armitage. They combine very well together and understand each other's game.
"Paul Hodgson is massively knocking on the door as well because they need a nine who can control the game."
