Danny Grewcock thinks that Bath and Leicester can put on a European classic when they meet in the last eight of the Heineken Cup.
The 36-year-old lock will have to watch from the stands when the two Premiership rivals meet on April 11 as his recovery from foot surgery could take another three months.
But Grewcock believes the match-up between two of England's most successful sides will not disappoint.
"The boys are looking forward to the quarter-final, whether it be at Welford Road or the Walkers Stadium," Grewcock said.
"We've had some fantastically close games against Leicester in recent years so it's going to be a great match.
"We've got some great results away from home this year. We've got a very good squad, very good team."
Grewcock was part of the Bath side that recorded a famous 15-12 victory over Leicester in the 2006 quarter-finals at the Walkers stadium, hanging on with 13 men for the final nine minutes.
There is also a personal incentive for the experienced England international. A semi-final against either Cardiff Blues or Toulouse could see him return to the Heineken Cup in Bath colours.
"If there was an opportunity for a game and it turns out I'd been casual about my rehab and was a week late, I'd be kicking myself," he added.
