Scotland lock Nathan Hines has signed a two-year deal with Leinster, the Heineken Cup champions have announced.
The Australia-born British and Irish Lion, who has 58 caps for his country, was formerly playing for French side Perpignan.
He will be joined in Dublin by tight-head prop Mike Ross, who moves from Guinness Premiership side Harlequins, and Australian back Shaun Berne, formerly of Bath.
Hooker Richardt Strauss, 23, has also agreed a deal with the province after leaving Super 14 side the Cheetahs.
