Back-rower out to impress at Kingsholm

Brett Deacon is determined to prove that he will be good signing for Gloucester following his move from Leicester. The 28-year-old made 84 appearances for the Tigers, however with his chances limited in recent seasons, Deacons opted to end his long association with his hometown club. Now the back row, whose brother Louis has been capped by England, wants to repay Gloucester for giving him a chance to kick-start his career. "Definitely I have it all to prove," Deacon told the Gloucestershire Echo. "People will look at me and say, 'He was not first choice at Leicester so why have we signed him?' "My job now is to prove to everybody, the fans, the coaches and the players that I am a good asset for Gloucester."
