The Cheetahs have agreed a deal to sign Emerging Springbok lock Wilhelm Steenkamp.
Steenkamp will make the switch from the Bulls after the 25-year-old grew frustrated at falling behind Victor Matfield, Bakkies Botha, Danie Rossouw, Flip van der Merwe, Fudge Mabeta and Juandré Kruger in the pecking order.
Steenkamp, who spent time on loan at the Sharks last season, has agreed an initial one-year contract to move to the Free State - with the Cheetahs hoping to secure his early release.
