England flanker Tom Wood is on course to achieve an awards treble.
The Northampton star, voted Aviva Premiership player of the season earlier this week, could now land the Rugby Players' Association players' player of the year and young player crowns.
Wood has been nominated alongside five other Premiership players - his Saints and England colleague Chris Ashton, Leicester back-row forward Thomas Waldrom, Harlequins fly-half Nick Evans, Gloucester centre Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu and Exeter prop Chris Budgen.
The winner will be announced at this year's RPA awards ceremony and dinner in London on May 25.
Wood, 23, is also nominated in the young player category, where he faces competition from Northampton and England lock Courtney Lawes, Leicester centre Manu Tuilagi (this season's Premiership young player award winner), Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell, Gloucester wing Charlie Sharples and Harlequins prop Joe Marler.
Wood said: "It has already been an unbelievable year for me, making my England debut and reaching the Aviva Premiership semi-final and the Heineken Cup final with Northampton.
"It is a privilege to be nominated by my fellow players and to make the cut for both the players' player and young player awards. At least I get two shots at coming away with something!"
