Aviva Premiership champions Saracens have secured the continued services of skipper Steve Borthwick, the club revealed on Wednesday.
Saracens have not revealed the length of the new deal for the former England captain, who led Sarries to their first Premiership title with victory over Leicester in May's Twickenham final.
But the news follows hot on the heels of the confirmation that director of rugby Mark McCall and his entire coaching team had committed themselves to the club until 2014.
"People talk about Saracens as a special club, and they are right in many ways," said the former Bath lock.
"There is a fantastic group of people at Saracens who work incredibly hard for each other to continue to build this great club.
"We have a long way to go in many respects, and I'm looking forward to the journey."
Sarries also confirmed fresh deals for Scotland flanker Kelly Brown and scrum-half Neil de Kock, who has already spent five years with the club.
"I am preparing to start my sixth season at the club, and I can honestly say I've never been happier," said the South African.
"Last season was fantastic, but everybody understands we will have to work twice as hard to retain the Aviva Premiership title, everybody is completely committed and everybody is moving in the same direction."
The club also revealed the signing of 19-year-old scrum-half Ben Spencer from Cambridge after the youngster impressed during pre-season.
