Rory Lamont has played down concerns over his condition after the Scotland back was taken off on a stretcher in Glasgow Warriors' 23-23 draw with Edinburgh on Boxing Day.
The 29-year-old was taken off after 35 minutes at Murrayfield after landing awkwardly following a mid-air collision with Ross Rennie in the RaboDirect PRO12 derby match.
He was taken to hospital for precautionary tests before later being discharged.
"Other than a headache and sore face all is good," Lamont wrote on Twitter.
The Warriors coaching team are not unduly concerned about their injury situation ahead of the New Year's Day battle with Edinburgh at Firhill, with Lamont joined in making a premature exit by number eight Johnnie Beattie (knee) and prop Ryan Grant (ankle) last night.
"I'm not particularly worried in terms of players being injured. We've got a huge squad, that will not be a problem," forwards coach Shade Munro told the Warriors' official website.
