Matt Hopper insists Harlequins know they cannot afford to relax

In-form centre Matt Hopper insists Harlequins are refusing to look too far ahead despite remaining on course for the treble.

Battling

Hopper went on to play for Manly, Plymouth and the Cornish Pirates before joining Harlequins in 2011. He has gone on to make 40 appearances for the club in that time, with his form earning him England Saxons honours. However despite becoming the heartbeat of the Quins back division - with 24 of his appearances coming this season - Hopper is not thinking about making the next step up. "It is hard enough to get in the side at Quins as the competition for the centres is so strong," added Hopper. "Myself and George Lowe are battling it out for the No 13 jersey so my hands are full with just making sure I am playing well here. My goal is just to keep playing as well as I can."
